Gas fuel cells usually make a small amount of electricity and (comparably) a large amount of heat, so usually are efficient only in combined heat applications. Of course they can pay-off eventually, but not much sooner than a solar/wind installation. The advantage compared to such systems is that you have reliable power, and no need for batteries (in case heat is constantly used). The disadvantage is that they require fuel, which will probably get more expensive over time. Still it is not a contender for fusion, especially FF, because of the price difference, and carbon emissions.
I am not a physicist, but would that not imply you can create negative mass?

Warming causes milder weather patterns and reduced air currents, because the temperature and heat-load spread between poles and tropics reduces. Cooling increases the spread and causes more dramatic gradients and flows and weather.Precisely the opposite of the Gore-Bull Warming story, of course. 😆
Except that we are set up for global cooling because of the coming Ice age you mentioned.
And there is nothing we can do because co2 absorption patterns are maxed out, like you mentioned.
So basically we are ****ed up aren’t we?
Seems Bill Gates is talking about the fast fusion reactor, probably meaning the MSR concept.

There are many issues unresolved with MSR, and the cost of running it is estimated higher that current BWR’s.
Maybe he would be interested in using FF for a hybrid fusion-fission reactor, might be dangerous to push the the topic of fusion itself with him.
Here is Bill Gates video
Another place for the seeds:

The most important part I think is to look legit, so timing could be matched to after some breakthrough/verification was completed. It might be a good idea to prepare well in advance. Unfortunately I don’t know anyone with more money than he can spend…
I wish I could be there…. at least virtually?
Well you can get net energy from processing fission waste.
I changed the title after some thinking. I thought it was about q>1, but it was about ignition temperature.
Not until now,
i designed one myself when I was ~12, never thought you can add fission reactor to make it work 😀
I think a laptop could do all the recording you need.
Just use some specialized recording software, that wont run out of memory during the process.
You can use Skype for calling, and it still should be recording (a separate program or a plugin to skype).
Something seems over here:

Please consider making a video of the lecture'(s) if any. It could benefit other people as well.
I think the Author might be interested in your comments, and should start a dialog so I would suggest adding them on you-tube.
Btw here is the rebuke of the “EPAGreenhouseGasEmissions.pdf”
There seems to be some clear explanations about what cycles earth goes trough (not very relevant to radiation Venus though)

While the channel itself speaks from the GW defender perspective it seems to contain accurate information and simple explanations. I think I will spend some time studying it:

Edit: for example did you know that more co2 does not necessary mean more plant growth?
