I wish I had a subscription to every database of information on the planet. Then I could read the stuff that matters. I guess I’ll be patient and wait for the movie. 🙂

I am not sure what that means.
I do know it is not about “We.”
Question: If you could change the world, what would you do?
Answer: Try…
There are several questions that come to mind.
Will this announcement require time sensitive action? Does need to go out the same day?
Is there a need for a specific contact (person or email) communicated to the target audience?
Do you have a teasing article to get traffic to the chosen web site. (Lawrenceville Plasma Physics) Unless it is the web site of the event, or Focus Fusion.org?
A automated response email (sort of) Thank you for your interest we will be getting back to you soon or..
Thank you for your interest, check our FAQ page to get more answer
Thank you for your interest, we are discussing investment interests at ..????
A central article(s) that explains the scientific information in simple terms (why do they care?)
Are you giving them the same information or something new? Hopefully it will be something new, interesting and in-depth to keep them interested.
Help will be needed to post the actual announcement on each of the specific web site addresses, if it is a time sensitive matter.
Response to inquiries through email should have some guidelines set up in advance. This should be according to interest (investor, general, engineer, scientist, volunteer, etc…).
I have identified approximately 80 other sites, where the information/announcement/story could be posted as an email in a contact us form. If a precise marketing type of description was cut and pasted into the form field, you would hit those addresses fairly quickly.
If you want some examples:

They write about interesting energy and climate related issues. The only way to get their attention is to send a form through their system.
I have a list of journalists such as Bill Moyers from PBS as well.
The best places are Face Book, Pinterest, linkedIn and number of other places as well. I think if you diversify the direction of the information, there will be a lot of ground covered. The most important thing is to have the same message. It may need to be told in different ways but the message is the same.
One other suggestion, it is a well know fact in advertising and marketing, a consumer does not cognitively register information in the first two “Flashes” of information. A consumer requires at least three to five “flashes” before drawing their attention to information. Same message 3 to 5 things just to get their attention.
When I did email marketing for a sporting goods company, I sent out 27,000 emails and received a huge response for the next few months. By the end of three months, I was down to less than 5,000 interested customers in that period of time A single email campaign would end in three days, the orders for products would go flat. This is process of numbers. It comes down to how many locations and how many people do you have to contact. Start with 7 billion and hope you get .01% to notice. 🙂
I have been collecting several sites on energy and the environment. These include blogs and media. The idea of having as many sites as possible is a very good idea. I believe you need to be as strong as possible and go as big as possible. Communicating through so much noise on the web requires generating as much interest as you can. Would you like the list posted on the forum or emailed to someone specific.
I also agree with the statement of having a story to go along with the announcement. This should be multi-part so that there are click-throughs.
I was considering suburban systems, because that is were I live. Hypothetically, I have a (coal, gas, or nuclear) 500 MW plant which generates a $1 million a day. The thing is paid for and you come along with a fusion generator. It has a lot of cost saving and money generating advantages. I need to spend
$30 million to replace that unit (plus I have to get permits, buy land, construct a building for it, and a new (suburban) distribution station at each location. Suddenly, my cost has gone up,
300K per reactor
100 -200K per lot land purchase
50K Building a house for the reactor
??? Distribution for 1500 homes
20K for Permits etc (not sure)
________________
600,000 each approximately. My cost has doubled
I still have to purchase ten units to replace the one. A normal capitalist would say, “screw the extra cost of multiple units in multiple places. I will just gang them up in one place and save the bucks. I also don’t have to worry about them in multiple places.” Remember, they play by their own rules. You can’t assume they will gravitate to a distributive network, just because it is the right thing to do. They also hate it when other people “tell” them how it should be done. (I’m just playing the devil’s advocate.) Thinking though capitalist tendencies requires painful brain mechanisms and sometimes it hurts. 😉
Also, in an urban setting you could house them in office tower basements. You wouldn’t need to use the current distribution networks. The electricity would back feed out of each tower into nearby towers or they could sell excess to each other. Those dang capitalists 🙂
The issue of what local power companies and cites allow for power generation is a part of this question. In Minnesota, generation of more than 5 MW of electricity requires public hearings and a great deal of red tape. How do you tap into the system without a distribution station nearby? Do you incorporate it into the reactor building?
Taping into a local access point for distributed electricity also brings up questions. If a 4.99 MW reactor provide power to 1500 homes in a town of 10,000 homes you may need to have those reactors in neighborhoods. A positive campaign of community education would be needed to convince people of the safe operation of aneutronic reactors. And, there is always the possibility of misinformation campaigns by those who do not like competition.

A software package such as Adobe Premier or Final cut (look and work the same) will allow you to sync up video and sound. You can also keep the camcorder on the presentation/screen more than the speaker, then you do not have to worry about precision of the lip sync. Some lapel systems have a plug that will go into the camcorder. You would need to look for this feature in both.
I have professionally recorded, edited and everything else to do with video production that can be done. I no longer do it, because just about anyone can going out and getting a camera, and there is no way to make a living at it. The sound and lighting of good quality video production is always difficult. Standards of quality go up, the more you do it. It is almost like fine tuning a focus fusion device. 🙂
My suggestion: Make a presentation video that is precisely written, edited and ready to go. Show the video of the presentation to your audience (7 to 10 min), then answer questions based on the video. Record the Q & A portion. Next time you make a video presentation Put the anticipated questions in to the video as answers. It is called clarifying the message each time. Repeat the process until it is perfect (sort of).
By creating a video of the presentation, you gain precision in your message. Owning the software and equipment, you can update it on a regular basis.
Like infinite.

Is it similar to something else that is undefinable? Like Dark Matter and shouldn’t Dark Matter and Primordial ooze be listed as a “Theories.”
I wrote before I thought.
I was interested in the thoughts of what “main stream science” thinks was the consistency of space before their Big Bang. Dark Matter? Was everything Dark Matter, similar to a pool of oil ooze and bang, a bubble of space and the Universe appeared? I still don’t get, how a single item in an empty space or whatever, suddenly it decided to exploded? How did it get there?
Secondly, the titles of various references for the BB, are incorrectly titled across the web. Wikipedia has it titled it as “Big Bang.” It should have the word, “Theory” after the title, because that is exactly the correct title. The question then follows, if other “Theories” such as Dark Matter are not labelled as such, what are they. It is similar to writing an equation and not completing it correctly. English has standards also.
The video discusses “Super capacitor.” Does the charge and discharge capability of Graphene have a possible application in the release of energy after a pulse from a plasma focus burst. Or, as the recycle stage of storage for energy to be re-released from a fusion event.
I understand your need to find a consensus on the graphics and past animations that supporters like. I have built many web sites for people and they normally don’t ask their customers, or supporters about these things. So I consider this thread a good idea. I also think too deeply on this stuff, so I get in trouble. This site seems to be focused on the forums and the conversation that has been going on. This also is good, but it hasn’t nailed the essence of “identity”and “branding in a web site for the Society.
The site doesn’t start off with a story of a “Social” history. Somewhat of a webumentary (I made that word up). The concept walks people through the world of the Focus Fusion Society. This would be an interactive story of presenting what the society is about. Graphics are always something to be updated, but your core web site concept will steer you towards new and improved graphics, maybe some you never thought of. Your members enjoy being a part of the story, even if it isn’t discussing technical aspects.
I have found the connection between cosmological discussions and the work going on in the lab, completely fascinating. Links between these enriching stories and accompanying graphics would lead more people to a greater depth of understanding. Then, they would go to the forums and read what is there.
People talk about content, but they don’t understand how deep you can go in the content, if improves the story. Graphics, animation, video and interactive story telling that brings everything together in a history of the society and its support for LPP would go farther.
I would like to purpose that a list of people should be started. They are very involved the public discussion of energy. It would be important to vet the list to make sure the letters would not be wasted. An example of a person would be, Richard Kauffman. I have only begun to research his background and need more details before I would send a letter to him. He is a possibility.

http://www.goodenergies.com/ ( associated with this company – Good Energies Capital is a private equity fund investing in the Energy Industry.) Which isn’t that great.
But a list would be good. Crafting a good letter takes time and sending it to multiple people is time well spent.
Do they listen to numbers? Are the costs over the last thirty years just a drone of noise?
You may be better off with Crowd Sourcing. A petition is pretty limited. The word of this project just isn’t getting out on the street, yet…
