American Lawmakers Warned of Emerging Nuclear Power Market Risks and China’s Possible Domination

Kachan & Co. helped educate U.S. Senators and Members of Congress this week
    on alternative nuclear technologies.

Lawmakers were given a letter from Dallas Kachan, Managing Partner of Kachan & Co.,
a cleantech analysis firm that has published a study on new breakthroughs in nuclear
power technology. Titled Emerging Nuclear Innovations: Picking global winners in a
race to reinvent nuclear energy, the Kachan report was the result of six months of
    international research.

The Kachen report is pay-walled but here is a link to a summary of the Executive Summary which lists
both Lawrenceville Plasma Physics and Focus Fusion Society in the end notes – page 7 and 8.

Some of the posted photographs of the inducer coil show it’s windings to be unevenly spaced.
Might the resulting magnetic field contribute to sheath asymmetry?

I don’t know what their deal is but
as you say, renewable energy costs more so it is dishonest on it’s face to offer
    newnewable energy for less.

What do they get out of this relationship?
    FFS promoting their product/accounting trickery.

Meantime FFS has an asociation with this entity.
FFS should make every effort to avoid relationships with questionable
outfits. This one, I would avoid.

As yet, you do not have a product.
You are pitching a dream, a great big beautiful dream.
It is an inherently positive theme.

Sell the Dream and Sell the Dreamer:

    Innovation often yields surprises,
but seldom are these innovations transformative.
    Fire
    The wheel
    Electricity
    and now,
the most important innovation in human history.
Harnessing a quasar in a bottle.
    Aneutronic fusion.

Through the persistence, dedication and talents of a single man this vision is within reach.
Eric Lerner, ignoring the opinions of others in the field of plasma physics, has extended
that branch of science into new realms.

It is upon the shoulders of such giants that society may soon stand.

    Could inject some humor:

    Fire:
Scene from “Quest for Fire” where the main character witnesses fire being made, by hand, for the first time. The actor did a splendid job of expressing overwhelming awe.

    The wheel:
A cart with stone wheels gets loose, rolls down hill, right through the village huts and a villager comments “Oh sure Thad, the wheel, another great idea”.

    Electricity:
Scene from Frankenstein where the switch has been thrown, huge bolts of electricity are flying all around and the scientist is yelling “it’s alive, it’s alive.”

Harnessing a quasar in a bottle:
Astronaut during EVA opens Mason jar, reaches out and scoops up a quasar.

    Eric Lerner:
A photo of Eric with a huge demented looking smile.

    Ignoring the opinions of others:
Eric at the podium pointing at a diagram of DPF when the audience (a bunch of sciencey looking guys in lab coats) start throwing wadded up pieces of paper and yelling “you’re crazy, you’re nuts.”

The criticisms of Svensmark’s CRF/Cloud formation theory have been rebutted.
The wikipedia article you posted has links to some but not all of these replies.

Some replies may be found here: http://www.sciencebits.com/SloanAndWolfendale

The “CLOUD” experiment at Cern is currently underway to further test his theory and hopefully provide a detailed explanation of this cloud formation mechanism.
    Time will tell.

OK – No high pulse rates.
So enlarge the “Onion” slightly and have 3 focus devices clustered together inside aimed at a single drift tube and fire serially.
    Individual pulse rate 330 Hz.
Combined pulse rate – 990 Hz.
    Combined output – 15 MW.
Drift tube made of unobtainium and pixie dust.

    Scalability of a reactor?

    What about the pulse rate?
If 330 Hz produces 5 MW could the pulse rate be dialed up to 660 Hz with output at 10 MW?
How about 3.2 GHz with output at 48 TW? 😛
