I am working as a self-employed contractor for LPP as a simulation engineer (as of 02/2013). Our present project is a 2D/3D model of a plasma filament and its progress during a firing of the DPF.
Before this, I was volunteering through FFS from mid-2010 to mid-2012. (During that time I also worked for 1 year as an analyst for a retail bank and before I started my PhD in 2005, I worked for the UK Learning and Skills Council.) I was awarded my PhD in Applied Mathematics from the University of Leicester in 2010. It mainly focused on stochastic simulations of path integrals, and the fermion sign problem.
