With the new push and funding for Focus Fusion, it occurs to me to wonder what effect this will have on the parallel X-Scan product. Would advances in that “fall out” of those in FF? It seems to me that it would depend on specifics of the next, “engineering” phase of the FF project, since I believe technically the X-Scan is a generator tweaked to maximize an X-Ray (beam) rather than produce a minimal omnidirectional scatter.
