This was a result of a keyword search on http://www.usa.gov (Keyword: fusion)

There are a number of passages in this document of interest and many that are lacking in detail. The interest is, in how a budget request like this is pulled a part and examined, to create a reasonable approach to congress. Understanding the current approach and defining in a new document so that Focus Fusion/LPPX can become a recipient of government funding in the future(or immediately)may be worth exploring.

According to the document, plasma fusion is the priority of the research and development in the community. Although, many of the priorities are confined to “their” current studies and research facilities, they do not leave out external projects. We need to define LPPX/Focus Fusion as one of those projects deserving of funding.

There are facts in the scientific results provided by the current paper written by Eric Lerner et, al, that point out mile stones not reached by other researchers. Fighting to attain some part of this budget is needed now and in the future. Community analysis of the above document would help create a new document. Not necessarily a negative view, but one that shows just how close LPPX is to completing the work and the cost savings that will be realized through funding LPPX.
