I was tempted to buy this paper when I saw the fusion article on the front cover ; I’m glad I saved it for the web, this is more like a damn squib.
The incredible level of ignorance displayed in the comments section is the most interesting bit. People who say that fusion reactors will never be sited in a city because “1 million Kelvin plasma is no joke”. Well, actually, that was about a fusion reactor built into an electric kettle. And the complaint was that it might vaporise your house.
