    With this new stellarator about to come online, is there any chance those scientific results could inform the work being done by LPPX?

    The device should be able to maintain the plasma for some time, but I doubt it will produce much to assist FoFu. There are many other stellerators around the world the first being H1 in Australia. I suspect this is more of about new engineering than new physics.

    Well put! 7-X is certainly an achievement that would have been challenging without CAD & CAM.
