Why I thought this? I remembered the cross sections for DD. At 200KeV it is 1/5 of the DT at this temperature. The simulations that correspond to FoFu yields in the version Lerner uses are for DT in other versions.
So, it seems that the results of FoFu can be explained by pure thermal reasons and not magnetic confining. So, increasing the specs won’t help much to increase the yields.
