The report was sent out to dues paying members yesterday.
Topics include:
- LPP formally organizes Board of Advisors
- Symmetry solutions to support greater fusion yield Tungsten pins identified as a cause of asymmetry in firing, resulting in lower-than-expected fusion yields. Continuous knife-edge, previously produced, is ready for installation in June. Soot contamination also to be improved.
- Micro-filaments in beams confirm 100-micron plasmoid radius
- Insulator breakdown cause identified. Reinforcement will be completed in June for planned firing with 12 switches up to 45 kV in July
