Glossary

We’re designing an official Focus Fusion Glossary.  In the meantime, here are some fusion-related glossaries to peruse:

Glossary of Fusion Terms

Source:  Culham Science Center.
Url:  http://www.fusion.org.uk/info/glossary.htm

This is designed to be a simple but comprehensive introduction to the terms and subjects covered by thermonuclear fusion research, in particular magnetic confinement fusion. The physics content is universal, of course, but there is a natural emphasis on the work performed at Culham and how it relates to the international fusion research programme.

A Teacher’s Guide to Plasma Science Resources

Great resource!  Url:  http://www.plasmacoalition.org/edu.htm

There is a great deal of information on the web about plasmas—so much information and at so many different levels that it is difficult for a teacher who needs clear, concise information to sort through it all. This website, designed by teachers for teachers, represents a “best of the web.”

See, for example, man-made plasmas, or plasmas in nature.
