I’m very happy to see this seminar posted. Much of it was a summary of what I have already learned here. The only thing I really gained from this is to have reached a disturbing conclusion about our behavior. And that is, that despite how well trained and disciplined we may be in science, mathematics and engineering, we are in our heart of hearts still human beasts with a desire to protect our territory and resources and to gang together into a mob and beat down others who will not chant the same chant along with us. I am referring here to the suppression of the positive results from the 2001 results of focus-fusion and the oppression of those researchers that had their name on that paper. I am sure there are many among us that are repelled by such behavior and hope you and I can be better.
