Event at Cardozo on Nov. 16th
The Cardozo Environmental Law Society (CELS) has invited Eric Lerner and I to join a panel at Cardozo Law school to discuss alternate energy, law and policy.
Date: Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010 (Yes, today)
Time: 6:30 PM
Location: Cardozo Law School, 55 5th Avenue, room 206.
The panel also includes Marc Karell of Climate Change and Environmental Services.
Per the organizers:
The format of the presentation will be informal, many students have expressed concern about climate change and an interest in alternative energy sources, so hopefully this event will provide some background on these issues that law students interested in working in these areas will need to know. I also think it should be really interesting to understand some of the science/policy efforts that interact with the law. No need to worry about having an elaborate presentation, we will be thrilled to hear about what you do on a daily basis, your interactions with the law and your thoughts on the state of things.
The panel probably shouldn’t run longer than an hour, so it seems that each of you should talk for 15-20 minutes, allowing some time for questions.
Thanks to Michael Sander, Focus Fusion Society member for connecting us, and to Samantha Weston and Adina Halpern for organizing the event.
Hope to see you there!
