On March 18, Lerner gave an invited presentation on the function of the DPF to an audience of some twenty physicists and engineers at Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory, the nation’s largest fusion lab.

In preparation for the talk, Lerner was able to refine some of the key steps in the plasma focus processes and the key role of some basic physical concepts (like the conservation of angular momentum).  The Princeton physicists responded with interest and some friendly questions.  The atmosphere was one of collaboration, not competition.
